Helpful staff, knowledgeable about local attractions, great advice. Free upgrade on Valentine's Day. Superb location, close to National Theatre and Tiananmen Square. Traditional hutong style, quiet in the evenings, good local eateries nearby. Would definitely visit again.

This hotel offers great value for money - the prices are very reasonable considering the central location near Tiananmen Square and the Hepingmen metro stop. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service, making sure all basic amenities are taken care of. The rooms, though small, are clean and well-maintained, with attention to detail. The breakfast included in the stay is a nice addition, offering a taste of local Chinese cuisine.
The hotel could improve on providing more space for storage in the rooms.
